Amouranth’s OnlyFans Earnings: Every Figure She Has Disclosed Herself

$1.1M in a month, $33M gross and $27M net, then $57M with $26.5M from messages. Every Amouranth OnlyFans figure she disclosed, with its source.

Most celebrity OnlyFans numbers come from fan accounts, brands or guesswork. Amouranth is the opposite case: every figure in this profile came from her own posts, streams and interviews, and several of them come with a breakdown. That makes her the most useful public data set on the platform, as long as you read each number for what it is.

This is one of our sourced creator profiles, alongside Camilla Araujo, Sophie Rain, Bonnie Blue and Iggy Azalea. Same rules: every number carries the outlet and the date in the sentence that uses it, every source was opened first-hand, and anything we could not check stays out. We are an agency writing about the industry we sell into, so read it with that in mind.

Every figure she has disclosed, in order

  • June 2021: $1.1 million in a month. On a stream with Ethan Klein: “Yeah, 1.1 million last month,” as Dexerto reported on 23 July 2021, describing it as her highest month. Spoken.
  • August 2021: about $1.3 million a month across platforms. In an interview with investmenttalk, reported by Dexerto on 23 August 2021: OnlyFans over $1 million, Patreon $189,000, Twitch, TikTok and YouTube together $133,000, Fansly $17,000. She tweeted that her monetized platforms were at “$1.3million/a month net”. Broken down by her.
  • April 2022: $1.4 to $1.5 million a month. “My main OF alone (Not including fansly, free OF or Patreon) clears $1.4 TO $1.5mil a month pretty easily,” as Dexerto reported on 19 April 2022. Tweeted.
  • July 2022: $33 million in total, $27 million kept. In a tweet on 8 July 2022, reported by Dexerto on 9 July 2022: $33 million from OnlyFans, of which she had “taken home just over” $27 million, at roughly $1.5 million a month. Both columns.
  • February 2023: $1.5 million a month from OnlyFans, $100,000 from Twitch. In an interview with Jake Lucky, reported by GameRevolution on 17 February 2023: over $20 million a year, made up of “$1.5 million per month of OnlyFans earnings, $100,000 per month via Twitch, and $85,000 a year from gas stations”. Spoken.
  • Late 2023: nearly $1 million a month. Dexerto reported on 15 January 2024 that she had revealed “nearly $1 million per month from September to December of 2023”. Disclosed, period stated.
  • January 2024: $57 million in about four years. In a screenshot on X, reported by UNILAD Tech on 20 January 2024: more than $20 million from subscriptions, $10 million from tips and $26.5 million from messages, with her account in the “top 0.01% of all creators”. Screenshot, broken down.

Reading the numbers together

Her figures hang together better than almost any other celebrity’s, and you can check them against each other.

The 80% test. $27 million kept out of $33 million is about 82%. OnlyFans pays creators 80% of what fans spend, so the two numbers from July 2022 are consistent with a real dashboard, with the small difference explained by rounding in the press coverage.

The run rate. Between the $33 million in July 2022 and the $57 million in January 2024 lie about 18 months and $24 million, or roughly $1.3 million a month. That sits between her $1.5 million claims of 2022 and early 2023 and the “nearly $1 million” a month for late 2023. The totals and the monthly figures describe the same business.

The direction. The late-2023 figure is lower than the $1.4 to $1.5 million she gave in 2022 and 2023. In the coverage we read, she did not explain the drop, and we do not guess at one.

Gross or net. UNILAD Tech did not say whether the $57 million is what fans paid or what reached her. Because the $33 million in 2022 was the larger, pre-cut figure, it is most likely the same column, but that is our reading, not something she stated.

We found no figure attached to her that she publicly disputed. The closest she came to a correction was about a date, not a number: the retirement below.

Where the money comes from: messages

The January 2024 breakdown is the most useful thing she has published. Of about $57 million, $26.5 million came from messages, more than subscriptions ($20 million plus) and tips ($10 million) on their own, as UNILAD Tech reported on 20 January 2024. That makes messages close to half of her lifetime total, the largest single line.

That matches what we see at a far smaller scale: on the accounts we manage, roughly 74% of net revenue comes from messages. Her share is lower, and with an audience her size subscriptions are a large line on their own. The direction is the same. Even at the very top, the inbox earns more than the feed.

She has also been clear that she did not run it alone. In the July 2022 tweets reported by Dexerto on 9 July 2022 she thanked her team, and the same piece notes she had started her own agency to help other creators.

OnlyFans versus Twitch

Amouranth is famous as a streamer, but her own numbers put Twitch in second place by a wide margin. In August 2021, as Dexerto reported on 23 August 2021, Twitch, TikTok and YouTube together brought in $133,000 a month against over $1 million from OnlyFans. In February 2023, as GameRevolution reported on 17 February 2023, it was $100,000 a month from Twitch against $1.5 million from OnlyFans.

She explained the relationship in the same interview: “For the most part, Twitch is a billboard that I get paid to advertise on.” That is the model in one sentence. The free platform is where people find her; the paid platform is where the money is made.

Where the money went, as reported

  • A gas station. Kotaku reported on 10 November 2021 that she bought one for “about $4,000,000 dollars, only $1,000,000 of which she had to pay upfront”. In her own tweet she calculated an accelerated depreciation charge of about $3 million at a 37% marginal rate: “So for 2021 I will owe $1,110,000 LESS in income tax.” That is her calculation, not tax advice; Kotaku’s headline called it “rich-person math”.
  • Twitch content, stocks and small companies. Kotaku reported on 12 April 2022 that she had put $350,000 to $400,000 into Twitch content and held Activision Blizzard stock and an inflatable pool company. Dexerto, on 19 April 2022, listed 7-Elevens, gas stations, plastic ball companies and Google stock.
  • Returns she has named. $85,000 a year from gas stations, in the February 2023 interview reported by GameRevolution. Dexerto’s July 2022 piece mentions two gas stations, Kotaku’s November 2021 piece one; the number grew between the two reports.

Next to $1.5 million a month from OnlyFans, $85,000 a year is small. Her own stated plan, as Dexerto reported on 19 April 2022, was to keep going until her passive income passed her active income. On the figures she has given, that was still a long way off.

The retirement that was postponed

On 12 April 2022 Kotaku reported a tweet that began “END OF AN ERA”, in which she said she would quit OnlyFans in June. In July she pushed it back. “Because I am about to embark upon a crusade, and I’m going to fund it myself,” she said, as Dexerto reported on 25 July 2022, explaining that the money would go into an anime convention and that the retirement was delayed by six months or a year.

Her later figures show she was still on the platform at the end of 2023 and into 2024. By January 2024 she was telling others not to follow her: “I would never recommend girls to start an OnlyFans. Like do not, it’s not good for you,” adding that “it only works if you’re already an established creator”, as Dexerto reported on 15 January 2024.

What to take from this if you are a creator

  • A breakdown beats a total. Her $57 million is less useful than the split under it. Ask any creator, or any agency, where the money came from, not just how much.
  • Check the 80%. Her 2022 numbers pass it. If someone shows you a gross and a net that do not sit close to that ratio, ask why.
  • Her advice is the honest part. “It only works if you’re already an established creator” comes from the person with one of the best results on the platform. Her audience came from years of streaming first.
  • Free platforms are the billboard. Twitch paid her a fraction of OnlyFans, and she kept streaming anyway, because that is where subscribers came from. Plan your free channels as the funnel they are.
