OnlyFans Top Percentage Explained: What the Top 1%, 0.1% and 10% Really Earn

What the “top X%” rank on OnlyFans is worth in dollars, from 612 self-reported net 30-day figures across eight lists between September 2024 and July 2026 — and why the rank cannot be counting every account on the platform.

Written by Jonathan F. Published

OnlyFans shows creators a rank: top 1%, top 0.1%, top 15%. It shows it to the creator herself and nobody else, which is why the number mostly travels as a line in a bio or a cropped screenshot. The question everyone asks about it is the one the platform never answers: what is it worth in dollars?

In July 2026, the answer was about $21,791 net over 30 days for the top 1%, $110,171 for the top 0.1%, $4,220 for the top 5% and $1,243 for the top 10%. Below is where those numbers come from, how they have moved over two years, and what the rank does and does not tell you.

Where these numbers come from

Every few months a creator collects anonymous screenshots from other creators and publishes them as a list: each line is one creator’s rank and her net earnings over the last 30 days, as her own dashboard showed them. We have eight of those lists, from September 2024 to July 2026, 612 figures in all. The creators behind them are known to us through agencies run by people we know. We are not naming the person who compiles the lists.

Two honest caveats. First, this is self-reported, and we have not seen every individual screenshot ourselves, so treat it as strong evidence rather than an official statistic. Second, it is messy in the way real data is: within each list a few neighbouring ranks are out of order — a creator at 0.79% reporting slightly more than one at 0.77%. That is what you would expect when a 30-day window moves every day and the screenshots were not all taken on the same day. We left out two lines that were malformed or dated outside their month, and fixed obvious typos such as a full stop in place of a comma.

Net = after the platform’s 20%. Figures without ≈ are as reported for that exact rank; ≈ means that rank was not sent in and the value is read off between the nearest ranks that were, rounded.

Two things stand out. The curve is steep: going from the top 10% to the top 1% multiplies earnings by roughly seventeen, and from the top 1% to the top 0.1% by another five. And the middle is small. A creator at top 54% made $47 that month; at top 27%, about $200. Most of the money sits in a very thin slice at the top, which matches what is known about the platform as a whole on our OnlyFans statistics page.

Two years of thresholds

The trend is up at every rank, though not in a straight line: the top 10% in particular goes up and down from list to list. Between September 2024 and July 2026, the figure at the top 0.1% rose by about 36%, at the top 1% by about 20%, at the top 5% by about 53% and at the top 10% by about 24%.

There are two ways to read that, and the lists cannot tell them apart: either more money is reaching the top of the platform than new creators are arriving to compete for it, or the group the rank is measured against is changing. For a creator the practical meaning is the same either way. So far, holding the same rank has cost more each year, so a rank you had last year is not a benchmark for this one.

The rank cannot be counting every account

This is our own inference, not something OnlyFans has said, but the numbers leave little room for anything else.

OnlyFans paid creators about $5.76 billion in 2024 and had about 4.6 million creator accounts at the end of that year. Now take the December 2024 list and assume, very cautiously, that every creator earns only the floor of her band and that December was a typical month: $94,445 for the top 0.1%, $18,717 for the next 0.9%, $976 for the next 9%. Spread over everyone the rank covers, that is already about $4,209 a year per account, from the top 10% alone.

If the rank covered all 4.6 million accounts, that would come to about $19 billion a year — more than three times what OnlyFans paid out to every creator in 2024. For the numbers to fit, the rank can be measured against about 1.4 million accounts at most. The obvious reading is that it compares you with creators who are active or earning, not with every account ever opened.

That matters because the two kinds of figure get mixed up constantly. Our own guide to what creators make quotes the widely reported floor that the top 1% of creators clear $50,000 a year. That is measured across every account. On the rank, $50,000 a year is about $4,200 a month, which in July 2026 put you around the top 5% — not the top 1%. Both statements can be true at once; they are counting different crowds.

What the rank does not tell you

  • It is a rank, not an amount. Two creators at the same percentage in different months can be thousands of dollars apart, as the table above shows.
  • It is a snapshot. The figures here cover a rolling 30 days, and one large spender, one good week or a quiet one moves them. They say nothing about the year.
  • It is net of the platform’s 20% only. Agency commission, chatters, content costs and tax all come out after it.
  • Nobody else can see it. Any “top 0.1%” in a bio or a post is the creator’s own claim, exactly as checkable as any other screenshot. How to check someone’s OnlyFans earnings covers what to ask for instead.

Where our own creators would sit

The only figures on this page we can vouch for first-hand are our own. These are published, with their dashboards, on our results page. Placed on the July 2026 list, they would sit here:

SarahJuly 2026$11,767≈ top 2.1%

Read off between the nearest reported ranks. Calendar months and 30-day windows are not identical, so treat the placement as approximate.

The two lines for Sarah are the useful part. The same account went from around the top 2% in July to around the top 0.7% in August. A rank is a snapshot of one month, and it moves a long way when the month does.

What to do with this if you are a creator

  • Use the rank to track yourself, not to compare with strangers. Your own trend over several months says far more than any single percentage.
  • Translate it into dollars before you celebrate or panic. Top 10% was worth about $1,200 net in July 2026, which is a real start and not yet a living.
  • Look at what moves the number. On the accounts we manage, about 74% of net comes from messages. The rank follows the inbox far more than it follows the subscription price.
  • Be wary of anyone selling you a rank. A promised “top 1%” is a promise of about $22,000 a month net, and nobody can guarantee that.

Questions creators ask

What does top 1% on OnlyFans mean?

It is the rank OnlyFans shows a creator for her earnings compared with other creators. In July 2026, self-reported figures put the top 1% at about $21,791 net over 30 days. The rank appears to be measured against active or earning creators rather than every account on the platform.

How much does a top 0.1% OnlyFans creator make?

About $110,171 net over 30 days in July 2026, according to self-reported figures, up from about $80,700 in September 2024. Net means after the platform’s 20%, before any agency commission, costs or tax.

How much does a top 10% OnlyFans creator make?

About $1,243 net over 30 days in July 2026. The curve is steep: the top 1% earned roughly seventeen times as much in the same month.

Can other people see my OnlyFans top percentage?

No. OnlyFans shows the rank only to the creator herself. Any percentage you see in a bio or a post was put there by the creator, and cannot be checked from outside.

Is the OnlyFans top percentage based on all accounts?

It cannot be. If the thresholds applied to all 4.6 million creator accounts, the top 10% alone would earn more than three times what OnlyFans paid out to all creators in 2024. The rank most likely compares you with active or earning creators. That is our inference from the numbers; OnlyFans has not published how the rank is calculated.
