OnlyFans earnings calculator
Project your monthly earnings from subscribers, PPV, and tips, and see which lever moves the total most.
Tips assume an average of $15 per tipping fan. The platform keeps 20% of gross.

Notice how much of the total sits in PPV and tips rather than subscriptions. That share is exactly what professional chatting grows. On our roster, messages account for roughly 74% of all revenue.
Apply NowWhere the money on OnlyFans actually comes from
The single most common mistake in earnings estimates is treating the subscription price as the business. Move the subscriber slider and the sub column grows in a straight line; move the PPV sliders and the total moves far faster, because pay-per-view income multiplies buy rate by price by frequency rather than adding one payment per fan per month. On our own roster, messaging revenue is roughly three quarters of the total. Most creators modelling their income for the first time assume the opposite split.
That has a practical consequence for pricing. A lower subscription price is not a loss of income if it puts more fans on the list, because the list is what messaging revenue is calculated against. A high subscription price with a small, quiet list usually earns less than a low price with a large, engaged one. The calculator will show you that trade directly: drop the price, raise the subscriber count, and watch the total.
Tips behave differently again. They are not a lever you set; they are a by-product of how a fan feels about the account after several weeks. The calculator holds them at a modest average deliberately, because a projection that assumes generous tipping is a projection that will disappoint you.
Making the projection realistic
Two adjustments make the output far more honest. First, use active subscribers rather than total followers — the free followers who never converted do not pay and should not be in the number. Second, remember that a monthly buy rate of fifty per cent is not a stretch goal, it is a fantasy; twenty to thirty per cent on a well-run list is a strong result, and the default here reflects that.
The output is gross before tax and after the platform keeps its twenty per cent. If you want to see what an agency commission would do to that figure, take the gross this tool produces and put it into the commission calculator, which compares managed and solo take-home side by side.
Common questions
How much can you realistically make on OnlyFans?
It depends far more on list size and messaging than on subscription price. A list of 500 active subscribers at ten dollars, with a quarter of them buying pay-per-view content each month, projects to roughly ten thousand dollars gross — but the same 500 fans with no messaging strategy project to around five thousand.
Does this calculator include the OnlyFans platform fee?
Yes. OnlyFans keeps 20% of gross, and the take-home figure shown is after that cut. It is before income tax, which depends on your country and your business structure.
What percentage of OnlyFans income comes from messages?
Across the accounts we manage, roughly 74% of revenue comes from pay-per-view messages and tips rather than subscriptions. The exact split varies by niche and price point, but messaging being the larger share is close to universal on accounts that work at all.
