Agency handover checklist

Leaving an OnlyFans agency, or switching to another one: what to collect before you give notice, what the notice must say, the handover-day steps in order, and what to hand the next team versus what to keep. Print it and tick it off.

No email, no sign-up. Written by an agency whose own contract allows exactly this exit.

Before you give notice: get your records

Quietly, before you have announced anything. Most exits do not go wrong; the few that do go wrong quickly, and in those arguments the person holding the records wins.

Records

  • Download your content vault in full.
  • Export whatever performance data you can reach from the platform.
  • Screenshot today’s stats: subscriber count, earnings by category, top spenders if you can see them.
  • Save the agency’s reports and every message about money, scope or notice.
  • Dig out the contract and note three clauses: notice (how much, in what form), the term (fixed or rolling), and any post-termination commission.
  • If the agency holds your login, ask for it back now and make it sound routine.

Our contract guide goes through the clauses in plain English.

The notice

An email, not a chat message someone can delete later. Short and civil; the OFM world is small.

The email needs three things

  • Today’s date.
  • The clause you are invoking.
  • The end date that clause produces.

Until the end date the agency keeps earning its commission and you keep getting the service. If they down tools the day you give notice, write down what stopped and when.

Handover day, in this order

On the day the notice period runs out. About thirty minutes of work, and afterwards the exit is real. Skip one item and it is only theoretical.

OnlyFans account

  • Change your password, then log out every active session (Settings → Account → Sessions).
  • Move two-factor authentication to your own phone, not to a number or app the agency set up.
  • Check which email is on the account. If the agency created it, switch to one only you control; whoever holds the email can reset everything else.
  • Confirm the payout details: the bank account and payout method have to be yours.
  • Revoke every connected tool the agency installed: browser extensions, Telegram bots, third-party CRMs.

Every social that feeds the account

  • Instagram: password, 2FA, linked email.
  • TikTok: password, 2FA, linked email.
  • X: password, 2FA, linked email.
  • Reddit: password, 2FA, linked email.

If the agency will not let go, the sequence that resolves it is in the exit guide: reset what you can yourself, then go to platform support as the ID-verified person.

What to bring to the next agency, and what to keep

If you are switching rather than going solo, onboarding week at a serious agency produces two documents and asks for scoped access. Arriving with the material ready shortens the week; keeping the right things to yourself keeps the next exit clean too.

Hand over

  • A boundary and persona sheet, or the material for one: how you write, what is for sale and at what floor, hard limits, what a chatter may never decide alone.
  • Your content vault and what is already queued, so the first calendar is planned around what exists.
  • The stats screenshots from step one, as the baseline the first weekly report should start from.
  • Scoped access to the account: the access they need to work, granted once and properly.

Keep

  • Your login. Nothing about your login should change hands.
  • Your payout account. Money goes from the platform to you; commission is invoiced after.
  • The 2FA device and the account email.
  • Written terms before the first message is sent: scope, commission basis, notice period, who is in your inbox.

This is the order we run onboarding in ourselves; it is set out step by step on our process page, and our own contract lets creators leave exactly this way.

This checklist is general information drawn from our published exit guide and onboarding process, not legal advice. One paid hour of an actual lawyer’s time beats taking legal advice from any blog, this one included.
